2012 Annual Meeting: June 16, 2012
Our annual Pine Ridge Ranch Property Owner’s Association Membership Meeting is Saturday, June 16, 2012. This year’s meeting will be held at the Pioneers’ Community Hall in the town of Fort Laramie (in the renovated school building, through the South entrance). Registration begins at 2:00 pm with the meeting to begin at 4:00 pm. There will be no meal served this year, as per a vote by those members in attendance at last year’s annual meeting. We have two board member terms expiring in June, leaving two vacancies. If you would like to serve on the board, please complete and mail/e-mail the nomination form by June 4, 2012 (nomination form can also be found on the web site). If you have any issues you would like discussed at the general meeting, please mail/e-mail them to us so we may put them on the meeting agenda. As a reminder, please review last year’s minutes prior to the meeting, as we will waive the reading at the meeting. We look forward to seeing you there!
2012 ANNUAL ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP DUES
If you have not paid your annual membership dues yet, do so now! Dues and any late fees that remain unpaid for over 90 days will have a lien placed on the property and will incur late fees and attorney fees.
Annual dues for 2012 are $159.00 per lot and were due by January 1, 2011. To pay your dues, make your check payable to: Pine Ridge Ranch Property Owners Association or PRRPOA,
note “dues” on the memo line along with the lot number(s) you are paying for, and send your payment to:
PRRPOA, P.O. Box 35, Fort Laramie, WY 82212
PLEASE SLOW DOWN!
Increased speeds scatter gravel and increase wash boarding of the roads. Please observe posted speed limits.
PROPOSED GAS LINE TO CROSS RANCH
A liquid natural gas pipeline proposed by ONEOK is expected to cross a portion of the ranch within the next 1-2 years. Mary Jane met with the contractor's representative to discuss this matter and to gain insight into which parcels would be impacted. She was assured that all involved owners have already been contacted by the contractor to obtain permission to conduct initial survey work. At this time, as relayed to Mary Jane, the parcels that could be impacted are: 11, 17, 18, 26, 27, 29, 43, 58, 59, 61, 78, 104, 125, and 127.
Dewey Hageman, a rancher in the area, is involved in organizing an association to address this pipeline and its potential impact. Mr. Hageman has provided an agreement for participation in the association that can be downloaded here: Progressive Pathways
MEMBER CONTACT INFORMATION/ MEMBERS ONLY SECTION
Many members have requested that a list of fellow property owners be provided to all PRRPOA members. The Board will be honoring this request by creating a Members Only section on the website containing Lot #s and Member Names. If you would like to have your COMPLETE contact information (address, phone numbers, email) available in this password protected section, fill out the Contact Info form and e-mail/mail it in. The Member Only section will be added soon.
ROAD MAINTENANCE
The Board would like to remind all ranch residents to CONTACT A BOARD MEMBER about the need for any needed road maintenance issues. If we don't know about the problem, we can't fix it!! Send a letter, an email (prrpoa@prrpoa.com) or telephone one of the board members (see Board of Directors page for contact info).
