Board of Directors Meeting Minutes 6-21-07

The meeting was called to order by Terry Barnes at 10:15 a.m. in the Board room at Dick and Linda’s ranch.

Previous Minutes

Linda read the previous meetings minutes. Corrections were made. Jim moved to approve the minutes. Chuck seconded. All approved.

Treasurer’s Report

Linda read the treasurers report. Chuck moved to approve the report as written, Jim seconded All approved.

Delinquent dues for 2007 wre discussed. 6 lots were behind and the letter was sent out. Board had approved a 5% late fee effective January each year. The following lots are behind: 2, 28, 46, 101, 184, 187.

Meeting transferred information, checking accounts, with 2 signatures required. Terry Jim and Chuck on the PR Utilities account.

New Business:

Bil suggested an advisory board be appointed. discussion on what authority and mission statement should be drafted for the advisory board. The board would not have voting authority, just be implemented in a advisory capacity. The past president of the board would be on the new advisory board. Ken Wagner, Arnold Tollefson, and Dick Gosselin will be asked to serve. Authority of this board to be determined. Discussed moving and spraying weeds along the roads, determined there a liability issue and the commercial insurance would be needed. Arnold stated time was of the essence and that it would be impossible to get a handle on it this year, Arnold offered to mow the weeds along the roads, as well as do the spraying for 1 year if the insurance wasn’t cost prohibitive. The association would have to reimburse him for the cost of the insurance and spray. Bill made a motion to have Arnold get a bid on taking care of the weeds. Jerry seconded it. Motion passed.

Discussion on date of next board meeting concluding with the date of July 14, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. Next meeting to be held at the old general store at Pine Ridge.
